The mask was created in 1993 after working on products and stage wear for Ice Ts rock band "BODYCOUNT". I found working with the band members a source of some pretty bizarre inspiration! The project was fused with a personal artistic drive I had at the time for styling weaponry and mechanised body armour into fashion accessories. Mask and oak casket were completed in May 94 after 450hrs of painstaking toil. Hand forged in copper, titanium, aluminium, bronze and steel. The mask interior is lined with 22ct gold plating which took three attempts to perfect. The jaw is mechanised and can be worn open or closed.
